I wish you matters of life.

2017-04-03

quotation of the week no. 14/2017

“It is only shallow people who require years to get rid of an emotion. A man who is master of himself can end a sorrow as easily as he can invent a pleasure. I don't want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them.”

                               Oscar Wilde

I wish you moving-forward emotions.

2017-03-20

quotation of the week no. 12/2017

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

                               Steve Jobs

I wish you springing up time.

2017-01-02

All men make faults.”

2016-12-19

quotation of the week no. 51/2016

2016-12-12

quotation of the week no. 50/2016

“Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security”

                               Benjamin Franklin

I wish you firmly fastened freedom.

Until I feel unsecure, I have no chance to enjoy freedom. I meet lots of people who feel insecure in their jobs and I do not mean the same level of risk and adventure, which is necessary to boost motivation. This feeling of insecurity is almost silent and suppressed. However, it significantly impacts individual freedom.

2016-12-05

quotation of the week no. 49/2016

We see in others that which we hide from ourselves.”

                              Anonymous

2016-11-28

quotation of the week no. 48/2016

“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.”

                           Aristotle

I wish you happy imperfections.

When I thought of my happiness, I used to look for things which I desired, but I have never thought of what could remain imperfect in my life in order to stimulate me for improvement.
I should have asked myself: what makes me unhappy that would make me very happy to solve?  As André Comte-Sponville stated, we need despair (that we will never reach true happiness) to feel happy!

2016-11-21

I wish you “in-lightness”.

2016-11-02
